Lefevre is truly an extreme of her
breed. The tallest and longest bodied doe in the barn, Lefevre
backs it up with outstanding structural correctness in both feet and
leg as well as pastern quality. Her topline could not be any
leveler, nor wider with tremendous length of loin. When Lefevre
freshened for the first time it was evident that this was a doe that
really had a complete package going for her with a beautiful wide
and smoothly attached udder and near ideal teat size and placement.

Again, I mentioned our luck with
the Lyric daughters, well a few days later Lefevre’s udder blistered
from a hormonal imbalance and although we got her through that year
and got some quality photos of her, she subsequently repeated the
next freshening. Eventually we had to have the mammary system
amputated. Her two littermate brothers, Longevity and Landslide are
well proven bucks and Longevity is the sire to our beautiful Van
Latte. |
