"Brandt's Sircles In September - one of Cinsations Best In Show Winning Daughters"

"Drake" as he is affectionately known is owned in a partnership with our good friend Dan Drake. We thank our long time friend and mentor Ray Vieira for making him available to our area.
Drake is well put together, wedgy, and extremely wide and open through the escutcheon and rear legs and walks out very widely and tracks well. He is very open, dairy, and sprung as well. Drake has an absolutely beautiful strong, attractive head. Drake comes from a long line of very well uddered productive does.

Drakes first kids are outstanding and have been showing consistently well, as a matter of fact at each fair we have attended one of the Drake kids has been Junior Champion and there have been some Best Junior Doe in Show honors.  Drakes kids are extremely typey, wide, level  and correct.  This buck really puts outstanding front ends and rear ends on his kids.  Time will tell on the mammary systems but we expect them to be quality as well.

Pleasant-Grove Mink Maestro

  Sire:  *B Pleasant-Grove Super Standout
    SGCH Stardust Cordite Saba 11*M
Pleasant-Grove Mink Maestro
    *B Pleasant-Grove Liason Superior
Dam:  CH Pleasant-Grove Super Mink (EX 91) 1st Place 5yr-2006 ADGA Nat'l Show
    D.D: Pleasant-Grove SSR Mint

Maestro's dam, Mink

We have always been fans of the incomparable SGCH Saba and wanting to incorporate those genetics lead us to Maestro.  Maestro is no genetic stranger to this herd.
Superior is a +*B Hoach's Lyric Liason son and this combination should work well for us.  Maestro himself is a solid buck that is extremely tightly made and very strong in General Appearance being well elevated in the front end, although not particularly tall, he s uphill.  He has very sound feet, legs and pasterns with very correct set to the leg, both fore and rear and tracks true.  If you painted his dam black you would be looking at Maestro in profile.

*B Redwood Hills Revolution Speed

Cou-Blanc

American

 DOB 5/07

    +*B Willow Run Abraham Wonder
Sire:  *B Willow Run Wonder Revolution
GCH Willow Run Armand Rishona 2*M
*B Redwood Hills Revolution Speed
    +*B Tempo Aquila Freelance
Dam:  SGCH Redwood Hills F Sebastienne 10*M
    Redwood Hills Journey Shalimar 9*M

Speed's dam, Sebastienne

We fell in love with Speed's dam, Sebastienne as a first freshening 2 yr. old. Sebastienne is wide, deep, powerful and very correct with an extremely snuggly attached mammary system that is particularly strong in height and width of rear udder while carrying a superlative udder floor, medial and teat size, shape and placement.  Speed is a buck that shows alot of influence in the phentoype of his dam, he is extremely large, stretchy and elevated.  He is structurally very sound and we could not be more pleased with him.  If you trace his pedigree back you will see that he has many related animals to our herd, but also brings in some new blood which we think will combine well.  Speeds first kids are very exciting they are correct, long, level and extremely tall, this buck is throwing size, size, size and we anxiously await a couple of fresh daughters in the spring of '09.

*B Brandt's Kazaa Kazam

DOB:  3/07

Dark Chamoise

American

    *B Clovertop's Firestarter
Sire:  *B Brandts CFS Set the Style
    GCH Brandts Lil Summer 2*M
*B Brandt's Kazaa Kazam
    Hoach's Lyric Lucky
  Dam:  GCH Brandts Kazaa *M
    D.D:  Brandts Karbon

Kazam has been graciously leased to us for about 30 days from his owner Michelle Sluznis.  Thank you Michelle!  Kazam combines most of the more recent influential animals in our herd combined into one animal.  Kazam is an extremely sharp, dairy buck with a gorgeous long neck and well blended shoulders and high very prominent withers.  In addition he is extremely well angulated and stands on very correct feet and legs.  His sire, Set the Style is still a young buck himself, but after reviewing and evaluating several of his daughters we came to the conclusion that Kazam could have a very positive influence in our program.

    D.D:  Vance's Petriarch's Melody

Ronyx pedigree contains the best of the best in purebred alpines.  Ronyx is a welcomed addition as our new Jr. Herdsire.  We have always been admirers of Robena and when she was bred to Jasper we knew we wanted to incorporate him into our breeding program.  He also traces back to our California Gold, one of GoldenLark's proven sons.  Ronyx is uphill, dairy, with a particularly long lean neck and very correct front end assembly-tracking extremely well with very nice foreleg positioning.  We look forward to his first kids in 2009.
